Peace be upon you,
I'm Yahya John the founder of The Design Tree I'm a former UX Designer for a major health insurance company responsible for developing future applications that elevated the suite of healthcare services and experiences for those fortunate enough to be insured. It was there that I refined my approach to design thinking using digital storytelling and design thinking as a process of innovation a game-changer for developing innovative applications.

Seeing the value of this approach I wanted to make it available to mankind. The Design Tree is a game changer it allows anyone to harness this new technique to solve the world's problems. As an organization we not only provide a structure for developing innovative ideas but we wish to cultivate fertile ground and supportive networks that usher these ideas into a new world/market, a new human-centered economy.

The Design Tree Formula

Unique, innovative, groundbreaking design thinking process that utilizes timeline and existing design thinking strategies with key data collections to not only understand the customer experience but to build a story around that customer in two distinct stages. The first phase of The Design Tree storytelling is built to discover the user and their problem while identifying other design thinking modalities for data collection, key performance indicators, and persona/problem validation. The second phase of The Design Tree storytelling is built to discover if the solution solves the user's problem while again identifying other design thinking modalities for data collection, key performance indicators, and solution validation.

    Our unique process seamlessly leads you and your team to gather the necessary information from your target users to create a digital story. This process brings to life your persona and their unique problem, and their current path that leads them to your solution. Through a digital story we can plan collaborative design thinking experiments for product validation, and make the necessary iterations to improve our user experience.

  • Design Thinking Tutorials

    We have assembled a variety of collaborative design thinking exercises to complement the fact-finding needed for persona validation, product creation, and solution validation. Our 35-plus collaborative design thinking exercises come with tutorials and diagrams, and instructions intelligently assembled for you to easily share future strategies with your team as you plan, learn and share and execute design thinking exercises to affirm your solution.

  • Validate Your Solution

    We added a tool for data collection and key performance indicators within each of our design thinking exercises. These data collection sets will help you qualitatively and quantitatively prove your solution solves your user's problem and are perfect for documenting and presenting the conclusion of your research.
